Terms and Conditions of Use

Welcome to Gnam! ("The Application" or "App"). The application is provided by Lorenzo Cavallini ("we", "us", "Developer"). By downloading or using the App, you automatically agree to the following terms. If you do not accept these conditions, please do not use Gnam!.

This document also incorporates the standard End-User License Agreement (EULA) required by digital stores (Apple App Store and Google Play).

1. Nature of Service and Limitation of Liability (Disclaimer)

GNAM! DOES NOT PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL OR NUTRITIONAL ADVICE.

The App uses algorithms based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) to analyze your pantry, cross-reference it with pre-set parameters (allergies and diets) and generate recipe ideas.

• The AI can make mistakes or inadvertently ignore specific allergies ("hallucinations").
• All results, portions and steps suggested by Artificial Intelligence should be considered purely creative ideas.
• It is your sole responsibility to carefully verify the ingredients, portions and potential allergens contained in any suggested recipe before preparation or consumption, especially if you are cooking for individuals with severe allergies, intolerances or specific medical conditions.
• The Developer is not responsible for any food poisoning, allergic reactions, physical harm or health problems resulting from recipes generated and/or published within this application.

2. Subscription Plans (Free and Pro)

Gnam! is free to download but offers some features reserved for "Gnam! Pro" subscribers.

• Free Plan: Has limitations on our AI Chef usage (a maximum number of recipes that can be generated per week) and restricts access to advanced tools (such as GNAM CHECK).
• Pro Plan (In-App Subscription): Upgrading to Gnam! Pro is an automatic renewal subscription. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account upon purchase confirmation. The subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions by going to your account settings in the Store after purchase.
• Uncovered or unused subscription fees do not provide for partial refunds (the policies set directly by Apple and Google apply).

3. Accounts and Families (Kitchens)

By registering with the App, you can create or join a closed group ("Family" or "Kitchen").

• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and the security of your account.
• The Family Creator ("Owner") can modify members. If you choose to delete your account while in a Family, your profile will disappear but inventory data will persist for the benefit of remaining members, unless you are the only member or the owner dissolves the entire group.
• You must not upload inappropriate, offensive recipes, texts or inventories that violate local laws.

4. Intellectual Property

All code, design, logo and interface of Gnam! are the exclusive property of the Developer. It is not permitted to copy, modify or attempt to extract the source code of the App.

5. Applicable Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute related to the use of the application shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the applicable courts in Italy, unless otherwise provided by the Consumer Code if applicable.
